In the second quarter of 2024, the fast food and fast casual restaurant apps have shown varying trends in downloads and user engagement. Sensor Tower provides detailed insights into the performance of these mobile applications.

McDonald’s - Non-US saw a steady increase in downloads, starting from 6K in the first week of April and peaking at 9K in the final week of June. Their weekly active users showed a significant spike, reaching 276K in the last week of May, although seeing a slight decrease to 246K by the end of June.

KFC CZ experienced a fluctuating pattern in downloads, with a notable rise to 5K in mid-April, but overall maintained a consistent performance around the 4K to 5K mark. Weekly active users remained stable, with a modest peak at 41K in mid-April and closing the quarter with 40K active users.

For Burger King Czech Republic, download numbers showed an upward trajectory, from just over 1K at the start of April to over 2K by the end of June. Weekly active users peaked at nearly 4K in mid-April but dipped to around 2.5K towards the end of the quarter.

Starbucks CEE had a mixed quarter, with downloads seeing a high of 602 in the third week of April, but generally hovering below the 500 mark. The weekly active users data for Starbucks CEE was not available for this period.

Lastly, Costa Coffee Club ME maintained a lower download rate, with numbers ranging from 118 to 218 throughout the quarter. However, their weekly active users showed resilience, staying within the 550 to 630 range, ending the quarter with 572 active users.
